NRDC— Natural Resources Defense Council Art Direction

Updated: Aug 4, 2023

In 2017, I had the opportunity to give a voice to those who cannot defend themselves from the environmental impact humans cause. The projects I worked on for NRDC involved creating advocacy campaigns to protect animals, water, air, and land.

Building a Better Future

NRDC is an international organization that safeguards the earth: its people, plants and animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends. Since 1970, NRDC has fought for the right of every person to clean air, clean water, and a healthy community.

The People's Climate March was a protest which took place on Washington, D.C.'s National Mall, and among 1 million locations throughout the United States, and locations outside the U.S., on April 29, 2017. The organizers, the People's Climate Movement, announced the demonstration in January 2017 to protest the environmental policies of then-U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration. The protests were held at the end of his first 100 days as president, during stormy weather across the U.S. There were an estimated 200,000 participating in the D.C. march.
